Interesting Flickr Photos

Postby Dennis Udink on Mon Sep 08, 2008 11:04 pm

I found these two sets on Flickr pretty interesting. The first one is called Stick Figures in Peril. Some of them are boring, but a lot of the photos are hilarious. This one is a series of aerial photos apparently taken from an airplane, and many of which are around Utah and the Colorado Plateau. Here are some of my favorites from the aerial set:

Wow, you're not kidding! Some of his stuff is too much for my tastes, but some of it is pure art:

I love the pics of the old car. On Flickr he mentioned the car is in Baker, NV. What a coincidence... My 12 y/o son lives with his mother not far from there. After I picked him up for the T-Giving weekeknd, I asked if he knew where the old car with the horse skeleton was. He led me right to it. The skeleton has been removed but the old car is still very interesting. I snapped a few of my own shots while was there. I couldn't resist the temptation to create my own HDR shots. But.. as you can see I'm using the trial version of Photomatix as shown by the watermark in the photos.
