Best superhero movie

So what is your favorite superhero movie (particularly those based upon comic books)?

Here are a few to get you thinking...

1) Batman (pre-Nolan - Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, etc)
2) Batman (Director Christopher Nolan - namely Batman Begins, The Dark Knight)
3) Spiderman
4) Fantastic 4 (1 & 2)
5) Iron Man
6) X-Men (1, 2 & 3)
7) Hell-Boy (1 & 2)
8) Hancock (not from comic book so far as I know, but he is a super hero, sorta...)

I love Nolan's Batman films, and I love the X-Men films. Not a fan of the others.

Your thoughts?

Out of the ones you mention, I would have to choose Iron Man as my favorite (perhaps because it's the most recent in my mind--and I loved the last few seconds!). I also liked the Spiderman movies, which was a surprise to me because I never really liked comics and didn't think I'd be into Spiderman. Actually, Batman Begins was the same way for me. I watched it on TV because nothing better was on, and I didn't expect it to be that good, but it was excellent and better than the earlier Batman movies.

One of my favorite superhero movies, though, is Unbreakable. It's kind of an unlikely but believable story, with a nice surprising ending.

Unbreakable is an interesting film. It wasn't my favorite, but it was still pretty good.

I really liked X-Men 3 a lot... I like Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman a lot, so it was naturally a movie I had to see. Ian McKellen also does really well in the film. I don't think they could have picked better actors. And Beast... I didn't think I'd like Kelsey Grammar, but I think he did really well too. Beast is an intellect and is very politically savvy. I don't know what it is, but Grammar has something in the voice that conveys that.

The Dark Knight was also a huge favorite of mine. I think that joker is one of cinema's best villains. Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are all actors that I enjoy watching. "Wanna see how I got my scars?" He's insane!

On a side note, I just saw 3:10 to Yuma the other day (yeah, I know it's been out a while) and thought it was really good (minus the two verbal bombshells mid-way through the movie).
