Donuts & Discussion will take place every Sunday during the month of March (March 5, 12, 19, 26) at 10:30 a.m. at Valley House. Enjoy donuts, coffee and lively discussion to socialize and meet new friends in the community.
Bridge Club (March 7)
Bridge Club will take place on Tuesday, March 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Victorian House. This will be the inaugural meeting of the Bridge Club and every skill level, from beginner to advanced, is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served and prizes will be given to winners.
St. Patrick’s Day Bingo and Green Cocktails (March 9)
Join us for St. Patrick’s Day bingo on Thursday, March 9 at 3 p.m. at at Cantril House, 221 Cantril St. in Parker. Test your luck at St. Patrick’s Day bingo while sipping on green beer and cocktails.
“Hacksaw Ridge” Screening at New Release Movie Night (March 11)
We will be screening “Hacksaw Ridge” at our new release Movie Night on Saturday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. at its Cantril House. “Hacksaw Ridge” is a war drama film about the World War II experiences of Desmond Doss, an American pacifist combat medic who was a Seventh-day Adventist Christian and refused to carry or use a firearm or weapons of any kind. Doss became the first conscientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor, for service above and beyond the call of duty during the Battle of Okinawa.
White Elephant Bingo (March 26)
We will host White Elephant Bingo at Valley House on Sunday, March 26 at 3 p.m. Participants should bring a small trinket or funny item worth $5 or less for the prize pot. Light refreshments will be served
Dave Hidalgo to Perform at Red Hat Society Luncheon (March 29)
We will host out first Red Hat Society luncheon of the year on Wednesday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Victorian House. Guests will wear festive red headgear, eat delicious food and listen to the musical stylings of Dave Hidalgo. The Red Hat Society is an international social organization that was founded in 1998 in the United States for women age 50 and beyond, but is now open to women of all ages. The Red Hat Society aims to connect like-minded women, make new friends and enrich lives through the power of fun and friendship.
