Here at CCAL, our staff and residents are sad to say goodbye to our resident services director Ann Rhodes. Ann first joined our team as a volunteer when she was just 16! It’s hard to imagine CCAL without her, but we know she’s going to do great things as she continues to serve the seniors of Castle Rock. Read a goodbye letter from Ann below.
As we say goodbye to Ann, we’re pleased to welcome Katy Carpenter as our new resident services coordinator. Ann has been helping Katy learn the ropes and get to know all our wonderful residents and families, who will be in great hands with her. Stay tuned to learn more about Katy in the weeks ahead.
Ann’s goodbye letter
Dear CCAL friends and family,
I wanted to let you all know that I am moving on to a new adventure with our neighbors in senior care, Solterra Senior Living (you might know it better as Castle Rock Care Center). It is bittersweet to say goodbye to our wonderful residents, families, staff and volunteers after so many years, but I am very excited to serve a diverse population of elderly and disabled individuals in Castle Rock.
Some of you may know that I have been here at CCAL since I was sixteen, and it has always felt more like a home to me than a place I work. It has been a true honor to be involved in the care of these residents and to help create a welcoming place for them to call home. CCAL has had a wonderful impact on my life and I will continue to be involved in this community. I look forward to partnering with CCAL in my new role at Solterra Senior Living.
Sincerely,
Ann Rhodes
