At Castle Country Assisted Living, we are committed to working with local organizations to promote the wellbeing of the people of Castle Rock, Parker and neighboring towns. In fact, we view our relationships with community organizations as one of our biggest strengths. Not only has it allowed us to help those in need, it also provides both our team members and residents with a stronger sense of belonging and purpose. These relationships also often lead to new opportunities and unique programs for our residents, whose happiness and wellbeing is our priority.
One of our valued partnerships is with our local Kiwanis club. Kiwanis is an international organization that strives to improve the communities where they’re stationed. Each Kiwanis club is a little different, as their efforts are catered to the unique needs of the communities they serve. Many host scholarship programs, fundraisers, blood drives, service projects and more. Kiwanis clubs are also dedicated to the wellbeing of children, and many of their programs focus on offering guidance and assistance to local kids.
Our Valley House residents are involved with Kiwanis Kids, helping serve the children at South Elementary. This involves everything from mentoring and tutoring students to improving the grounds and building.
Recently, the Kiwanis club held their charity golf tournament, which Castle Country participated in as a sponsor. With 129 golfers and many sponsors, the tournament raised more than $19,000 to support programs and services for children in Castle Rock and surrounding communities. We were so proud to be a part of this worthy cause, and look forward to continuing to partner with the Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock and other community organizations in the future.
