Elizabeth Thompson brings so much heart and dedication to the work she does at CCAL. For the past seven years, Elizabeth has been an enthusiastic caregiver at our Victorian House. You can find her doing anything to brighten her residents’ days, from assisting them at meal time to bringing them to various activities around the community and downtown Parker. She has had a passion for health care since high school when she volunteered as a candy striper at her local hospital. When asked what she liked best about her job as a caregiver she said “so many things! I love working with our residents and becoming a part of their family as they become part of mine.” She prides herself on treating residents with the utmost respect and helping them live their fullest life. “At the end of the day, if I have made a resident smile or made their day easier, it’s a good day,” she explains.
When she’s not at CCAL, you can find Elizabeth on the move! Elizabeth is an avid square dancer and travels around the state to dance with her club. In her free time she hikes, plays the piano and spends time with her family. She is happiest outdoors and in the sunshine.
Thank you Elizabeth, for all you do at CCAL! We are so grateful you’re a part of the family!
